The moment was worth watching when Jalpana Paul accepted the "Real Hero of India 2009" award for sports at CNN-IBN & Reliance Industries Ltd Real Heroes Awards Night at Hotel Trident. Jalpana Paul was from Malkangiri district, Orissa and her selfless contribution to sports in rural areas made her win this award. Her touchy speech filled with honour for womanhood and pride for the district where she belonged to, shadowed everyone in the award's podium namely Nita Ambani, Aamir Khan & Rajdeep Sardesai and made the elite audience to clap with dignity.People like Jalpana Paul are the real people of country who make a difference in lives of other people without any selfish interest or any discimination. Thier life stories impart good lessons for life for every generation. But alas! our media be it print or electronic as well as entertainment industry, has little space for such honoured people and thier true inspirational stories.
